Now I have to make a run to Wawa or Publix in a tropical storm because of all the stupid sandwiches...

Kinja'd!!!

Luckily it’s just raining here in Daytona. Not as bad as gulf coast.

Yea, all these sandwiches made me hungry too.

I went to a mom and pop deli and had them make me one of their Triple deckers.

Either of those choices is exceptional...and I have neither within something like 1,400 miles. Please post a photo of the treasure.

Sad to report that I ate it already. But there’s hope! Here’s the Italian’s stock photo, Lol.

Daytona Beach is weird in that there’s rarely “local” food because everyone is a transplant anyway.

So I go to Wawa because there’s only two places in the country that have it currently and that’s Florida and my home of Pennsylvania, oddly enough.

That’s where I got my sandwich.

It’s a triple decker, they call it a Pounder. I got the combo, sandwich, 2 cabbage rolls, side of slaw and a 44oz big red to wash it down.

Its only at that place can I over-eat to the point my stomach hurts.

I love their food.

It’s all Boar’s Head meat. They also bring in smaller meat brands that sell the oddball stuff. I love the hot cheese they sell there. I don’t know it’s name off the top of my head, but this cheese is legitimately a ring burner.

It’s just cheese, but it’s hotter than most places hot wings. I always buy a 1/2lb for using it for food at the house.

The cabbage rolls are always in demand around the holidays. People come in there and buy them by the dozen. The slaw is hand made, in 2 flavors, hot or regular.

It’s a tiny little place, but they’ve got a reputation as an amazing deli sandwich. Just look at the streetview of the place. It’s tiny, in an old building in a not so good neighborhood.
